Job Description

Centroid Solutions is a financial technology company that is seeking a skilled software Developer with experience in developing financial trading software. You will develop and design financial trading solutions and technologies, as well as maintaining and enhance existing software.

Main Duties

  • Develop quality software in C++
  • Analyze and maintain existing software applications
  • Design highly scalable, testable code
  • Discover and fix programming bugs

Required Skills

  • Strong C++ skills

  • Experienced with working in a POSIX environment

  • Fluency in databases such as PostgreSQL

  • Understanding of the financial trading industry (highly desirable)

  • Experience with FIX protocol (highly desirable)

  • Experience in MetaTrader 4 or 5 API (highly desirable)

  • Previous experience of real-time, multi-threaded software development

  • Degree educated in Computer Science or a closely related subject

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication and inter-personal abilities
